Why fix a small roof problem now?
A small roof problem never stays small. One missing shingle lets water reach the wood decking underneath. That wood rots quietly for months. By the time you see a ceiling stain, the repair costs several times more.
Arkansas weather speeds this up. We get severe thunderstorms, spring hail, and long stretches of heat.
Catching it early is the whole game.
How much does roof repair cost in Hot Springs?
It depends on what is wrong and how far the damage spread. Replacing a few shingles, resealing a pipe boot, or fixing one section of flashing are all small jobs. The price climbs once water has rotted the decking underneath. We inspect your roof for free and give you a written price.
Here is what typical repairs involve.
| Problem | What we do | Job size |
|---|---|---|
| Missing shingles | Match and replace | Small |
| Leaking pipe boot | Replace the boot | Small |
| Bad valley flashing | Pull back shingles, reflash | Medium |
| Rotten decking | Cut out wood, rebuild, reroof area | Medium |
| Storm-torn section | Rebuild the whole section | Large |
We do not quote roofs over the phone. We go up and look.
What are the signs my roof needs repair?
Look for water stains on your ceiling, missing or curling shingles, and granules collecting in your gutters. Damp spots in your attic and daylight through the roof boards are urgent. Any one of these means you should get up there, or call someone who will.
You do not need to climb a ladder yourself. Most of what we find is visible from the ground with a good eye and binoculars.
Our inspection takes about 30 minutes and costs nothing.
Should I repair or replace my roof?
Repair when the trouble is in one spot and the rest of the roof is sound. Replace when the wear covers the whole roof or the roof is past 20 years old. Patching a worn-out roof just moves the leak somewhere else.
We will tell you which one you have. If a small repair buys you five more years, we do the repair.
If your roof is done, look at shingle roofing or metal roofing. Metal lasts 40 to 70 years and handles hail better.
What if a storm caused the damage?
Then your insurance may pay for it. Wind, hail, and fallen limbs are covered on most policies. Age and normal wear are not.
We photograph everything, write it up, and meet your adjuster on site. See storm damage repair and hail damage repair for how that works.
We have handled hundreds of claims across Garland County.

Frequently asked questions
How much does roof repair cost in Hot Springs?
It depends on what is wrong and how far it spread. A few missing shingles or one bad flashing is a small job. Rotten decking or a large storm-torn section costs more, because we rebuild what is under the shingles. We will not guess over the phone. We inspect the roof for free and hand you a written price.
How fast can you get to my roof?
Often the same day or the next day. We answer the phone seven days a week, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at 501-359-5550. If water is coming into your house right now, tell us. Active leaks go to the front of the line.
Should I repair my roof or replace it?
Repair when the damage is in one area and your roof still has years left. Replace when shingles are curling all over, granules fill your gutters, or the roof is past 20 years old. Our free inspection tells you which one you are looking at.
Will a repair void my roof warranty?
A proper repair by a licensed roofer should not. Bad patch jobs by a handyman can. We are a licensed Arkansas roofing contractor, license number RR0540931024, and we repair roofs the way the material is meant to be installed.
Do you fix roofs you did not install?
Yes. Most repairs we do are on roofs another company put on. We do not care who installed it. We care whether it can be fixed well. If it cannot, we will tell you that instead of taking your money.
Will insurance cover my roof repair?
Insurance may cover repairs caused by hail, wind, or a fallen limb. It usually will not cover normal wear and age. We photograph the damage, document it, and meet your adjuster at your home. If your roof is fine, we say so.
